Description

Are you a risk and control professional with a strong understanding around regulatory reqirements? If so, we have a fantastic position working for a leading bank based in Belfast in the position of Risk and Control Manager.

Rate £300/day - inital 12 month contract.

  • Investigate and resolve Volcker related issues and exceptions by coordinating with trading desks, legal, finance and risk.
  • Assist with Metrics production, review, and distribution for internal consumption and regulatory reporting
  • Provide regular management updates and status reports
  • Participate in monthly reviews of Volcker metrics and reporting with in scope desks
  • Coordination of regulatory narrative whereby commentary is constructed, edited and then reviewed by senior management
'* 5-8 years relevant experience working in a front office or operations support environment or in a consulting or project management capacity

  • Sound understanding of the Volcker Rule
  • Adherence to monthly and quarterly deadlines for certain tasks "
