Fibre Planner

As a Fibre Networks Specialist, in the Design & Build Projects Team, you'll be responsible for the planning of the Vodafone Network Fibre Layer, to support National, Core Projects, this role is key to Vodafone's drive, to Lead in Providing Gigabit, Networks.

youwill be playing a direct part in Vodafone's strategy, to grow fibre scale, capacity and quality, to help support our winning products.


What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with the Projects team to establish works involved to close the site with mínimal impact on the network, ensuring that the scope of works is achievable during planned outage windows
  • To establish and confirm that the network affected is fit for purpose and is reflected correctly in the GIS
  • Instruct detailed network audits to establish record set is correct
  • Attend Surveys and site audits with Supply Chain Partners
  • Carry out compliance audits on Supply Chain Partners, where required

Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience within a fibre design & build environment.
  • Developed Stakeholder Management and Collaborative working skills including Survey & Partners
  • Diversionary & Site Closure Works Experience in a previous role
  • Experience of GIS is desirable
