    Job Overview

    The key position of Planned and Reactive Electrical Maintenance Technician plays a pivotal role across multiple sites in the area, driving technical excellence and efficiency.

    This role involves expert repairs and minor Predictive Preventive Maintenance (PPM), ensuring all necessary documentation is complete, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies. Delivering high-quality work while adhering to strict Health and Safety standards is paramount.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Complete the PPM schedule within agreed timelines, coupled with meticulous paperwork completion.
    • Swiftly respond to service requests from the Helpdesk, assess needs, and execute required repairs efficiently.
    • Conduct regular emergency lighting tests and undertake necessary repairs.
    • Identify irreparable faults in plant and machinery, promptly informing the line manager.
    • Ensure accurate and current compliance documentation at all times.
    • Notify the on-site manager of any repair and maintenance issues affecting site operations.
    • Carry out surveys, compile comprehensive reports as needed.
    • Comply with stringent Health and Safety protocols.
    • Participate in a 24/7 call-out rota, covering one week in every four.

    Essential Qualifications and Skills

    • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification.
    • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
    • Proven experience working with 3-phase electrics and their diverse applications.
    • Demonstrated ability to achieve PPM schedules within deadlines.
    • Ability to respond promptly to service call requests.
    • Valid full driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
