Description

Futures recruitment is looking to recruit a Senior Electronics Design Engineer for the client based in Littlehampton. This is a diverse and intensive role.

The role is offering a salary of circa £60,000 - £65, % per annum

Your main duties will involve:

Full ownership and management of electronic design whilst ensuring the business is updated on progress accordingly.
Assess the validity of various design and manufacturing proposals to satisfy customer needs.
Design schematics, PCB development and layouts.
Prototype and validate new designs to ensure the design meets target requirements.
Work closely with NPD team members software and mechanical resources.
Providing technical support to maintain legacy product lines.
Manage and control electronic design data and release into manufacturing.
Participate in technology activities and provide technical support and guidance.

With your key accountabilities:
Deliver new products to the market within quality, time and cost constraints.

Implementation of technology developments into NPD and into manufacturing ensuring an efficient product launch.
Electronic Design authority to ensure products meet/maintain specifications.
Full ownership of new and legacy electronic design data to ensure preservation and updates.
Sustaining of electronic content of existing products to ensure continued production.
Provide technical support both in and outside the organisation to ensure and maintain customer satisfaction.
Commitment to quality and ISO 9001 adherence to improve our reputation and customer service.
Maintain legacy products including updates and improvements to maintain product life cycle.
Ensure compliance with product legislation and market requirements.
Continuously improve processes and procedures throughout the business.
Promote, support and guide health & safety working culture throughout the business.
