Purpose

Working with Programme Directors, members of faculty and other professional services staff and the wider University, this post supports the delivery of an extensive portfolio of programmes delivered.

This post is expected to be agile working across the Pre-Experience Post-Graduate, Post-Experience and Undergraduate programme areas, depended on the greatest need to support growth areas of student recruitment.

This role supports the consistent and integrated delivery of programmes ensuring high levels of customer service and a high quality experience for Henley students.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with the University's relevant admissions, business development teams and applicants, to ensure an effective onboarding process.
  • Provide first line contact with students on designated programmes, responding promptly, professionally and accurately to requests for information across a broad range of topics. The post holder will work closely with other Programme Administrators to ensure that a consistent high level of customer support is provided across the team.
  • Coordinate arrangements for workshops/taught sessions and other intermodule activities, which may be scheduled for delivery at Greenlands, Whiteknights, elsewhere in the UK, or overseas by agreement, ensuring that programmes are set up and run to a high professional standard. Attend these events as appropriate.
  • Provide clear, effective written, facetoface and telephone communication to applicants and students.
  • Process programme related finance in line with agreed budgets working alongside Senior Programme Administrators.
  • Ensure the learning platforms are populated with the correct information and maintained with relevant and up to date programme materials in line with correct branding and copyright guidelines.
  • Coordinate the assignment submission process including arrangements for examinations and other types of assessment, in line with academic governance processes.
  • Preparation of Programme Handbooks, extenuating circumstances cases, examination boards, welcome weeks or starter workshops.
  • Track and support student attendance and progression throughout their programme, escalating areas of concern to relevant staff members.
  • Build effective working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders, including the International Study and Language Centre (ISLC), admissions, RISIS exams and graduation teams to ensure professional seamless delivery of programmes.
  • Coordinate and deliver programme events that meet the needs of students from a range of international backgrounds (this includes open days to support student recruitment, graduation and social events for students). Liaise with Henley's academic staff to support the coordination, administration and safe delivery of offcampus study trips.
  • As necessary and appropriate, act as meeting secretary to relevant boards and committees within the Henley Business School (precise details to be confirmed) and to hold membership of other relevant bodies.
  • Maintain student records and support quality checks so that accurate and reliable information is available to all stakeholders. Assist to provide data reports and checks when requested to.
  • Notify colleagues (Senior Programme Administrators or Programme Area Manager as appropriate) to potential issues and problems, seeking support and guidance.
  • Liaise with administrators in the wider team to identify and contribute to the development of administrative processes and system automation opportunities to improve efficiency throughout the programme lifecycle.
  • Maintain an indepth understanding of University policies to ensure they are adhered to during the delegates' studies.
