Description

Junior Software Engineerrequired for my client based in Birmingham, who work within energy technologies and IT services.


The successful software engineer will assist an experienced development team in developing the next generation of projects and products, for the business.


Junior Software EngineerPosition Overview

  • Work with the software engineering team on software and hardware solutions.
  • Operate systems including; installation, troubleshooting and virtualisation.
  • Web based technologies and development.
  • Working regularly on software development such as C# and C++, via graphical user interfaces.

Junior Software EngineerPosition Requirements

  • Experience using C#, C++ and other software platforms.
  • Software Development using C for Linux or similar UNIX like operating systems.
Computer networking technologies, including understanding and troubleshooting Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks.

  • Knowledge of webbased technologies and development, with a good understanding of creating functional and aesthetically pleasing graphical user interfaces
  • Based within a commutable distance of Birmingham.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.

Junior Software EngineerPosition Remuneration

  • Salary £23,000 to £27,000 dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
  • Full time position.
  • Holiday package.
