This post is hosted by Frimley Health Foundation trust, feeding into the system wide role working across the Frimley Health and Care Footprint.

The successful post holder will work as part of the Frimley Placements Team and closely with the Nurse, Midwife and AHP teams to:


  • Work in collaboration with partner education, AHP and ICS AHP leads todevelop new processes for the expansion of placements, and the coordination, management, support, and assessment of AHP's within Frimley Health Foundation Trust (FHFT).
  • Provide dedicated support and holistic oversight of AHP placement opportunities within FHFT, and to ensure the governance is robust,
The role will oversee the HEE Tariff return process and coordinate with the placement team to facilitate data entry.

The role will look to build a strong, sustainable AHP practice education community across FHFT.


Alongside the AHP development, the role will feed into the placement teams approach to exploring, developing and designing placement and student experience opportunities within the Private, Voluntary, and independent opportunities.

Working as part of the Placement Leadership team, the post holder will delivery of the quality, governance, performance and transformation agendas and representing at both internal and external meetings

  • Engagement of all key stakeholders across FHFT
  • Innovation, design and development of new processes that improve the student experience and increase placement capacity
  • Leading the implementation of the new processes across FHFT to coordinate, collaborate and develop an effective process for data collection
  • Supporting the coordination of student placements, mapping opportunities and reviewing workforce needs
  • Developing the expansion programme objectives which include the exploration of online and simulation training opportunities, oversight of funding from HEE Tariff and identifying support needed for BAME students

The post holder will have the responsibility for the successful delivery of identified AHP Clinical Placement Expansion Programme for FHFT.

This will involve providing strategic management of identified functions, and/or projects.
