Head of Global Sales (Remote)
Cadent Sourcing is partnering with one of Ireland's leading providers of high-quality maternity and baby care products, to large Retail chains and distributors throughout the Globe,


We are seeking a Head of Global Sales to Create & Execute a Global Sales Strategy, Lead the Sales Team to achieving their targets and Join the Company's Leadership team & work collaboratively within.


Required:


  • Experience in leading a Global Sales function, ideally selling to distributors and/or large retail companies.
  • People Leadership experience and proven experience in driving personal development amongst your team.
  • Experience in building a globally focused Sales Strategy and executing it via a Sales Team.
  • Comfortable to present and negotiate with Executive teams in large Retailers and International Distributers.
  • Able to focus on New Business as well as maintaining/enhancing relationships with existing client (Distributors/Retailers)
  • Contribute to the overall running of the business by supporting the leadership team.
  • International Market Knowledge is an advantage.
  • Experience in Consumer goods is a distinct advantage.

The Role:


Execute Sales Strategy:

You will use existing strategies and your own market knowledge to create a Global Sales Strategy, in line with the company targets.

You will execute said strategy, through your globally dispersed Sales Team, and monitor the performance against expected milestones.


Leader of Sales:

You will Lead your Sales team to achieving on the Strategy; through consultative buy in, people leadership and driving their personal development.


New Business:

As part of your Strategy, you will be expected to bring new distributors and new Retailers in as Clients (30%).


Existing Relationships:
Crucially, you will maintain and enhance the existing relationships with clients, and seek to grow the sales within these.


Negotiation:
You will be the lead negotiator, with support from the CCO & CEO, for all contracts.


Travel:
This role will require some travel. It is not expected to be extensive but will require long haul flights.


Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£70,000.00-£90,000.00 per year
