Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to expansion of the team for a Band 4 Diana Childrens Specialist practitioner, Special Needs Education.

Monday to Friday, Term Time Only 08:30 15:30

  • To work as a member of the Diana Childrens Community Service providing education and healthcare support to children/young people with complex healthcare needs, including life limiting/life threatening conditions within the school setting.
  • Provide healthcare and educational support in accordance with the childs care plan/ EHCP/IEP/ statement which has been individually negotiated with the parents/carers/ SENCO
  • Support the qualified nursing staff/ SENCO in reviewing each individual childs care.


This post will allow you to work within Ashfield School for pupils between the ages 4 and 19 with a range of special educational needs.

You will be working with highly committed staff, governors and parents, carers all are ensuring pupils achieve the very best possible learning outcomes.
