*About this role*An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Electrical Contracts Manager to join our Chapel Hall office for works across the Edinburgh & Central Scotland Region within the MOD Establishments and Housing.*Business Overview:

*Job Purpose/Background:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Electrical Contracts Manager to Manage our Electrical projects and Planned/Reactive Maintenance on MOD Establishments & Housing, Within Edinburgh & Central Scotland Region.
*Responsibilities include but not limited to: - Responsible compliant delivery of all Electrical projects, including Reactive & Planned Maintenance to achieve client KPI demands.- Ensure Compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and regulations, including the scope of electrical work that the business undertakes, ensuring that safe working practices are managed and embedded in daytoday operations.
- Responsible for Management of our Direct labour force and subcontractors of operational delivery on time, program, and budget.
- To effectively report information to the Senior Operations Manager in all aspects of External Suppliers, Sub-Contractors, including all aspects of compliance with legislation, regulations to current 18th Edition Amendment
- To develop existing policies and procedures to deliver a unified electrical compliance across the electrical work streams with the Branch.
- To resolve complaints and dissatisfaction issues, from both within the direct labour force and external supply chains to the branch, with the ability to confidently challenge and resolve difficult issues with a satisfactory outcome.
- Monitor, report and advise on compliance performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in terms of productivity and efficiency.
- To motivate and inspire the Directly employed Electricians and Sub-Contractors to be flexible, engaged, and ready for change.
- Must hold a relevant electrical qualification along with demonstrable knowledge and experience of Electrical Safety and Compliance works.
- Demonstrate a track record of proven experience of leadership, motivation, and engaging teams.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
- Highly motivated and keen to work to the highest standard at all times, regardless of working environments.
- Have good communication skills, oral, written, and electronic.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent customer service skills and commitment to deliver the works to the client's expectation
- Valid CSCS card (preferrable)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good problemsolving skills.
