Affinia Healthcare is a supported Living provider working alongside Adults with Different Levels of Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health needs in Romford and parts of East London.

We provide a combination of community support and supported living services.


We are currently looking for people who are interested in full & part time Support Worker positions who will relish the opportunity to begin or further develop their career in social care.

In particular we are looking for people with a calm and gentle nature, a great sense of duty and procedures who are interested in supporting vulnerable people to live a full and fun life in the community.

This role is for support workers within supported living services in the Romford area.

You must be able to demonstrate a willingness to understand the social and complex needs that a person living with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health may face.

It's vital that following your initial training and coaching you are able to work autonomously using your own initiative and creativity, where needed.


You will be provided with regular supervisions, attend regular group supervisions specific to the people you are supporting and contribute to our ongoing support planning, risk assessment and behaviour strategy processes.


As a new member of our team you will receive the necessary induction coaching and mentoring from existing and experienced members of our team, receive ongoing training including access to Level 2, 3 and 5 in Health and Social Care plus more specialist opportunities bespoke to your development needs and those of the people you are supporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Personal Care Safely where required following policies and Procedures
  • Administer Medications
  • Maintain written Records of Care Delivered
  • Assist with meals, drinks, Laundry and Cleaning
  • Provide Travel Support
  • Provide Community support
  • Participate in Training and Development
  • Provide Administrative Support to Team
  • Take and Make Telephone Calls, Booking appointments
  • Maintain Petty Cash
  • Provide Tenancy Support

£11.44 per hour
