In the UK, Safran Seats specialises solely in the First Class and Business Class seating markets for wide body aircraft, with industrial and engineering teams in Cwmbran and Newport, Wales and Brackley, England


The entry into service co-ordinator covers the tactical day-to-day programme requirements through the ownership and liaison with multiple key stakeholders, to achieve the programme objectives during the entry phase.


Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Manage the liaison with multiple key stakeholders (Programme, production control, supply chain, logistics, operations, onsite support etc)
Oversee the tactical execution of day-to-day programme requirements including supply chain activities across production planning & control, program purchasing, operational procurement and sales & operations planning
Create an inventory and monitor hardware progress for the full programme (free of charge, open order book and hospital stock)
Raise and co-ordinate the free of charge (FOC) sales orders process ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of hardware

Co-ordinate with the Seats GB and/or Safran partners on buyer furnished equipment (BFE) and in-flight entertainment (IFE) on demand, consumption and stock levels.

Measure and analyse performance of the hardware fulfilment status in line with programme objectives and provide the required weekly/monthly data for reporting
Maintain a safe environment for yourself and colleagues in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety policy
Ensure a consistent approach to "standardised work", share learning experiences
Undertake other duties and task as may be reasonably requested by your manager from time to time
Participate in;

  • Internal and external supply chain meetings
  • In production programme governance meetings
  • Onsite support hardware reviews
  • Continuous improvement activities within the programme and or other functions
