An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join a developing Clinical Psychology service within the Artificial Limb and Appliance Service, based at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.


The post holder will have previous experience of working with people with physical health, mental health, or other complex needs, and undertaking therapeutic work or assessments.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

This post is fixed term for 12 months due to - meet the needs of the service

The post holder will also be a member of the BCUHB Health Clinical Psychology Department, which is a supportive, friendly and growing department of Clinical Psychologists and Psychotherapists working in physical health services across BCUHB and has strong links with the North Wales Clinical Psychology Programme.


This newly created part-time post is initially fixed term for 12 months, but there is a possibility that this could be extended.
