FP&A Manager | International Sports Media and Broadcasting Business | Central London

Harmonic is excited to work with an exciting sports media and broadcasting business with an international focus to hire an FP&A Manager to join their UK finance team.


The Client

As one of the biggest global sports media acquisition businesses, our client has an international presence in the sports and entertainment world.

Their live sport broadcasts and original programming is viewed by millions of fans in over 35 different countries.

With international offices producing and broadcasting a variety of programmes grossing a £400 million pound a turnover, you'd have the opportunity to join an office of 60 sports fanatics.

Based in a centrally located office in an exciting area of London, this is a semi-hybrid role with 3-4 days expected to be completed in the office.

Working within a finance team of 5, this role contributes to a highly collaborative and lively team that placesan emphasis on growth and career progression.


The Role
There are exciting opportunities for progression within this role, along with valuable exposure to senior stakeholders in the business.

Duties

  • Work closely with the Rights Acquisition team to analyse how new acquisitions fit into forecasted financial performance
  • Reconcile and reference payment terms of acquisition deals against yearly budgets
  • Analyse cashflow and forecasts for potential acquisitions
  • Manage and update the acquisition database
  • Perform financial modelling
  • Present forecasting, financial modelling, and budgeting data to senior level executives
  • Contribute to ad hoc tasks for the Finance Director

What we need to see (essential):

  • Fully Qualified (CIMA/ACA/ACCA)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

What we'd like to see (preferred):

  • Previous experience in rights acquisition or media broadcasting
  • ACA Qualified
  • A love for sports

Salary:
£55,000-£65,000 with a generous benefits package
