We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Officer to join the Children's Commissioning team and support the day-to-day activity providing vital financial information to enable improved performance across the budgets and contracts associated with the commissioning service.
Reporting to the Business Change Team Manager for the Commissioning Team, you will have a varied role working on your own initiative in a supportive and learning environment.
Your main focus will be:
- Processing invoices and journals, interface files, recharges, grants, and any other appropriate activities to assist services with effective budgetary control
- Assisting with financial analysis of contractual expenditure
- Preparing and contributing to briefing papers, project reports and needs analysis
You will have:
- Experience in a similar, varied role
- Oracle specific experience would be useful
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Financial system/s
- Good communication skills
- Good organisational skills
- You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act "for the effective performance of a customerfacing role")._
