Design and Technology Technician (DT)

Secondary School

Start ASAP £ PW before tax

Perfect role for Architecture Undergrads/engineering or design grauduates.

Wanting a change of direction or some academic work while you figure out next steps.

We're looking for someone who is able to use the following programs and carry out the following duties.

Use TechSoft 2D design
Use fusion 360

- arrange practical materials/ingredients and support in some practical lessons
- order stock for the dept
- have knowledge of using the 3D printer (desirable)

The successful Technician will be involved in the following duties:

Demonstrating in lessons, and assisting with practical lessons
Supporting the teacher, as well as students using the equipment
Restocking and replenishing equipment where necessary
Ensuring work areas provide a safe environment for students to work in
Some experience working in education
Be happy to pay for a DBS if successful in interviewing

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR VERITAS EDUCATION

Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
You must have legal right to work in the UK
You must be willing to attend a registration interview
