Summary:

Support the Site Quality Manager in ensuring internal, customer and regulatory requirements are consistently met. This will require internal cross-functional collaboration, support to customers, regulatory authorities and suppliers.


Core Responsibilities:


  • Lead a team of quality engineers and technicians in continual improvement and associated scrap reduction activities across site to support right first time metrics and ontime delivery.
  • Actively collaborate and lead problemsolving activities within the manufacturing environment to ensure quality objectives are realised.
  • Facilitate robust root cause, corrective and preventive actions through 8D, A3, 5 Why, Ishikawa methodology.
  • Manage and monitoring of Q-Pulse workflow, customer NCRs, internal and external audit NCR's.
  • Clear understanding of the quality management system.
  • Conduct internal process and product audits, customer, regulatory authority, certification body audits.
  • Generation of audit findings and reports within the Qpulse compliance management system.
  • Support investigation activities for all customer complaints ensuring, on time, robust root cause, corrective and preventive actions are embedded, documenting actions and responding with professional feedback to the customer.
  • Good working knowledge SAP and associated quality functions.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:


  • Experience of quality systems eg ISO9000, AS9100, AS9110, AS13100 is essential.
  • Knowledge and working practice of APQP / PPAP is required.
  • Experience of Nadcap accredited processes.
  • Excellent working knowledge of industry standard problem solving tools and techniques.
  • Practitioner of quality / continuous improvement techniques.
  • Recognised aerospace lead auditor qualification.
  • Audit experience (internal/external).
  • Wellorganised, detailoriented, and able to multitask.
  • Able to research and analyse data effectively.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
