QA Auditor - Wrexham, United Kingdom - Adapt Recruitment
Description
Our client based in Wrexham is currently looking to add a QA Auditor to their team on a permanent basis.
Duties to include:
- Working in a fast paced environment with a key consideration to safety.
- Collaborative approach with other departments to ensure site and legal requirements are adhered to.
- Complete initial risk assessments of incidents, investigate and escalate if required.
- To ensure audits are carried out in line with predefined schedule.
- Ensure all food safety, GMP, legality and quality requirements are adhered to.
- A proactive approach to identification and investigation of nonconforming product or standards.
- Communicate and provide information to customers and thirdparty auditors while on site.
- Carry out verification of process controls e.g. environmental swabbing.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is available to check process controls, verification of critical pieces of equipment e.g. daily line sheets, scales, probes, metal detectors, checkweighers.
- NVQ Level 2 or equivalent
- 2 years of experience within quality assurance in the food sector
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
