An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team, could you help us to improve our credit decisioning and revolutionise our customer journeys?

About the team.


Sitting within our Risk Division, our team is at the forefront of innovation for the automation of business & commercial credit decisioning across the Group.


We own the credit strategies for small & medium businesses, monitor the portfolio and its credit quality, and offer Credit support for a ground-breaking change programme across Risk.

The role.

We're looking for an exceptional analytically minded and curious individual be the next member of our growing team.


This is an exciting time to join us, the portfolio is growing and we're embarking on a major change programme to transform the way we make lending decision through leveraging cutting-edge technology, meaning this role has a broad scope and is a phenomenalchance to lead change which will positively impact our customers.


You'll be working across multiple different teams to develop creative analysis on our portfolio and understand the value we can bring to our customers.


  • You'll lead on credit strategy development endtoend, from idea inception to implementation.
  • You'll develop insightful and actionable analysis and make creative recommendations to improve our management of the portfolio.
  • You'll monitor and support a range of credit risk management processes and systems to ensure they are maintained and coordinated effectively.
  • You'll be enthusiastic in constructively challenging how we do things, suggesting improvements, and owning their implementation.
  • You'll be curious of innovations from our external partners and other lenders in the marketplace and will champion the adoption of new ways of serving our customers.
  • You'll establish and nurture good relationships with your partners across BCB & Risk, fostering opportunities for improvement through collaborative working.
Who we're looking for.


You're the sort of confident senior analyst we're seeking, passionate about data insights, storytelling and building the capability of others around you.

You'll also have a well-developed communication toolkit, able to influence and work with both technical and non-technical audiences.

And you'll possess the imagination we actively encourage to think broadly and help create innovative data led credit strategies.
