My highly successful and well-established client is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their growing organisation as a Quality Coordinator.

The primary purpose of the role will be to co-ordinate all quality activities to ensure that theirproducts and services meet the needs of their clients (internal and external), are fit for purpose, and comply with our industry and relevant international standards.

The person will be responsible for continuously reviewing quality control processes, procedures and capabilities to sustain cost effective and efficient methods for meeting quality requirements.

They are looking for someone who is hands on, likes getting involvedand enjoys practical work.
Main duties & responsibilities

  • Coordinate and implement improvements of the quality management system to assure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements and the standards set by our policies
  • Maintain effective forms of corrective actions and methods
  • Work with leadership team to ensure that departments and individuals affecting quality are trained and have appropriate skills and deliver the required performance results
  • Develop and drive internal, suppliers and thirdparty quality system audits
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations and Design & Engineering on the quality management of suppliers
  • Assess supplier capabilities and monitor supplier quality to ensure desired levels of performance are achieved and maintained
  • Work closely with Design & Engineering on new product development and design changes to ensure Quality conformance and make suggestions for improvements to Manufacturers
  • Implement NPI processes into company procedures
  • Carry out inspection of production, process and quality programs within the national and international supply chain
  • Monitor and report company and suppliers KPI's
The suitable will demonstrate

  • Previous experience within manufacturing, inspection and quality standards, ideally in a Quality Control role
  • Knowledge developed of ISO systems would be desirable
  • The ability to understand and competently work with drawings and diagrams for manufacturing
  • Somebody who is happy to get stuck in, thrive on new challenges and has the desire to improve and make a difference to a business
