The main purpose of the role is to provide a functional lead for business change to deliver new processes and practices that deliver organisational business benefits, and adoption of new ways of working.


To lead on the tactical delivery of business change activities working alongside Project Manager, Business Analysts, Programme Leads, and Business Leads to successfully delivery change projects.


Main Responsibilities:


Be responsible for a range of business change projects to completion, taking the lead for the business to ensure business readiness, transition control and adoption planning.

Responsibly implement new ways of working, monitor improvements and share outcomes and case studies across the organisation.


Research and analyse information and make recommendations on the options for business changes which support the strategic vision for Warwickshire Police.


Support the assessment of business change requests that come into the team via the appropriate governance route, then lead on the delivery or signposting to Digital Services or inclusion in Empower.

Lead on providing a regular update to the Change Programme Lead by reporting on change needs across the organisation.


Advocate the use of the corporate change framework, its governance and adherence to ensure consistency and strategic approach is maintained.


Be a leader within the corporate Change and Innovation Network, drive engagement, interactions and involvement of the group across corporate change projects.

To create business change communication plans, readiness plans, and transition plans as required. Monitor these against clear deliverables and report up to the Programme Board on progress.


Create new engagement and training content to help users adopt the changes and present this to the business to support the roll out of the changes being implemented and ensure a smooth transition which delivers on the benefits outlined.

To undertake other duties commensurate with the nature, level of responsibility and grading of this post, as required.


Knowledge:

Change Management professional qualification or equivalent experience and understanding of continuous improvement methodologies

Knowledge of process mapping and analysis techniques.


Experience:


A track record of developing strong working relationships with a wide number of stakeholders - internal and external, eg reporting bodies, senior executives, professional advisers and suppliers.

The individual requires significant experience and knowledge of change, transformation and benefit realisation

Experience of being the professional ensuring the analysing and interpreting data and information makes sense

Experience of facilitation and presenting information both verbally and in writing

Experience of working cross functional and/or working with external partners and agencies

Experience of engaging and working with colleagues in the design and delivery of change interventions.


Key Skills:

High level of communication, influencing skills and interpersonal skills.

Ability to build relationships and credibility with senior level stakeholders and act as a coach/ mentor for change.
