Description

We are looking for a Junior Systems Administrator / DevOps who will be principally focused on supporting the systems that are used by our Backend & Data Teams - this includes technologies like Greenplum DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowplow, Kubernetes, Ceph Storage Clusters, Prefect Server and Dremio.


Responsibilities:


  • Managing & Maintaining our Dremio and Snowplow clusters
  • Maintaining and Administering systems on AWS and locally
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software, hardware and networks
  • Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues
  • Ensuring the security and efficiency of IT infrastructure
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models
  • Managing user accounts and access levels
  • Assisting Data Engineers in implementing processes and procedures for deploying code to Development, Staging and Production environments

Job Type:

Salary:
Up to £15,500.00 per year
