AK Teaching, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to work within an SEND provision in North Tyneside.

Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone and small group support to students with SEND, assisting them in overcoming behavioural challenges and achieving their learning goals.
Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to implement individualized behaviour plans and interventions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students.
Document and report on student progress, behaviour incidents, and any concerns to the appropriate staff members.

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a school or educational setting, particularly with students with SEND, is highly advantageous.
Strong communication, empathy, and behaviour management skills are essential for success in this role.
A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting diverse student needs.
