**Finance Bursar/ Controller
- £55,000-£60,000

  • Permanent**IN2 Consult is partnering with a nationally renowned private school in the Reading area on the recruitment of a finance bursar/ controller to join their growing

This Finance Bursar role includes the following duties:

  • Manage the School's Financial processes and systems so that they are robust, efficient and fit for purpose to manage risk and deliver accurate management information.
  • Overall responsibility for the accurate maintenance of the School's accounting records including fees ledger, creditors ledger, fixed asset register, bank reconciliations, nominal ledgers and other control accounts.
  • Manage a team of 3 accounting professionals
  • Oversee the month end and year end accounting processes
  • Drive process improvement throughout the finance function
  • Partner with key stakeholders
  • Ad-Hoc Duties


  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA
 Qualified

  • Experience working within a school/educational industry is preferred but not essential
  • Experience in managing finance professionals
  • Year end and month end reporting experience
  • Strong communication skills
