The Opportunity:

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic Junior Consultant to join our dynamic Consultancy team, focusing on Planning & Local Needs.

This role is your chance to contribute to meaningful change, supporting clients in navigating the local needs and priorities to maximise Social Value outcomes.

You'll be instrumental in delivering desk-based research, informing corporate Social Value strategies, and shaping the future of planning and development.


Role Highlights:


  • Conducting comprehensive desktop research and geospatial mapping.
  • Engaging in community consultation and client engagement initiatives.
  • Crafting and presenting insightful Social Value Action Plans and reports.
  • Collaborating with a team dedicated to making a real difference and the opportunity to support a wide range of organisations in the private and public sectors. We help organisations to do more in this space by offering a range of services, including strategy development, local needs analysis and planning support.

What We're Looking For:


  • A passion for social value, sustainability and supporting local communities.
  • Proven project management skills, with a knack for proactive and meticulous work.
  • A curious and creative mindset, always ready to innovate.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including data literacy and experience in qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and workshops.
  • Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office and Geospatial mapping tools like QGIS or ArcGIS.
  • Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to deliver excellent written reports.
  • A degree or background in Sustainable Development, Planning, Geography, Sustainability, Economics, or Data Analytics is advantageous.

Location/ Hours:
