Boat Driver for Construction Site.

Are you an experienced boat driver with a passion for construction and marine projects? Join ITS Construction as a Boat Driver and be part of a dedicated team that is transforming the landscape of Caerphilly and beyond.

We specialize in construction recruitment, and we are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boat Driver on behalf of one of our clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate and navigate boats to transport equipment, materials, and personnel to and from the construction site.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure timely and efficient transportation of resources over waterways.
  • Assist in loading and unloading construction materials and equipment onto boats.
  • Perform routine maintenance checks on boats to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, both on land and on the water.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, site supervisors, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations and guidelines to protect the surrounding waterways.
  • Act as a point of contact for any boatrelated issues or emergencies that may arise during operations.

Qualifications:


  • Valid Boat Driver's License or equivalent certification is essential.
  • Proven experience in operating boats, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
  • Strong understanding of maritime safety practices and navigation rules.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy objects and performing labourintensive tasks.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Familiarity with construction sites and the ability to adapt to changing working conditions

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 12 months
