Key Responsibilities:


  • Eager to develop their skill set and engage in opportunities to further develop their knowledge
  • Using their commercial skills to develop their own portfolio of clients and to selfsufficiently generate new business opportunities
  • A respected member of a small team, participating in leadership meetings, marketing strategy planning, curating new ideas and providing constructive input in respect of the company's development
  • Highly skilled at effectively managing their own time and coordinating multiple active projects, business development and internal administrative tasks
  • From time to time, expected to travel for client meetings and travel for facetoface management meetings at least once a month at the company headquarters in the East of England

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Client focused and commercially aware
  • Outgoing team player with strong relationship building skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Project management skills to manage internal, external and administrative requirements
  • Competent using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Capable of working independently, but also in apart of a team
  • Degree level qualifications, or sufficient previous industry experience
  • Practical knowledge of import and export processes, trade procedures and documentation
  • Competent completing classification and interpreting rules of origin
  • Proven experience in public service, consulting or advisory background, or supply chain and logistics role with a focus on international trade, customs and excise
  • Full UK driving license
