are a small, friendly firm and we are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible person to assist our production team.

Training will be given on the job.

The job will include handling glass, cleaning & operating coating equipment and packing components. You should be confident handling small parts and lifting large sheets of glass. An eye for detail is essential.

Duties include:

cleaning, unloading and handling and inspection of small precision components, cleaning and preparing substrates for processing, operating and cleaning the vacuum coating equipment, packing fragile substrates for UK and overseas dispatch, ensuring Quality Control System is adhered to, stock control of manufacturing consumables and materials, maintaining job and customer records, keeping work area and equipment clean and tidy and other tasks as required for the smooth running of the business.

GCSE's in physics or maths a distinct advantage

Minimum 4 GCSE's grade 4-5 above
