Description

Adecco are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Assistant/Labourer to join our client on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking for someone with previous experience working within a manufacturing or production industry and someone with hands on experience.

The role is to carry out maintenance activities on the site in line with business requirements and to assist the engineering department on specific routine tasks.

You will have many responsibilities in this role, some will include:

To carry out maintenance activities in line with business requirements using the relevant diagnostic skills which meet production requirements safely and efficiently.
To continually develop best practice handover techniques to provide a world class service
To communicate with the production team and maximise use of time and resources.
To work in a safe manner ensuring all health and safety rules, processes and legislation are adhered to
To work with and support other members of the production / engineering team
The ability to work in and promote team working within the organisation
Excellent communication skills and problem solving skills
Planned and organised approach to workload
Able to promote and work within a safe working environment

To be considered for this fantastic opportunity, you must have the following:

Maintenance background within a manufacturing business
Have relevant maintenance experience i.e. Engineering, Manufacturing or similar
Have relevant problemsolving experience
Have previous experience of 5s
Be proactive, organised and can work from own initiative
Be a team player with an ability to think creatively
