Our offer
- £20,048 per annum (pro rata) - £10.42 per hour plus paid travel time and 30p per mile

  • Accrued holiday pay and company pension available
  • Various hours' available (min 16 hours)
  • Paid training provided, paid travel time and mileage allowance
  • No experience necessary
  • Work in your local community and across Wakefield District
  • Usual working hours are Monday to Friday between 9 & 5 (Although some clients may request additional times or days)
  • There is an option to provide personal care to clients alongside domestic support on this contract
  • A work phone and app to complete visit tasks
  • Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check
  • Drivers with access to own vehicle essential

Main Duties
Supporting people to remain independent in their own homes providing but not limited to:

  • Meal preparation
  • Domestic support including shopping, cleaning, laundry and ironing
  • Social support including outings/ appointments

Age UK Wakefield District is a local independent charity working with and for older people across Wakefield District.

We provide practical support to those people whose circumstances are changing and now require a varying level of support to remain independent.

We put the needs and choices of the individual first. The service is CQC registered with an overall GOOD rating in Feb 2018.
