Role - Quality Inspector

Salary - £34,000 per annum + Benefits

Type - Permanent

Location - Gloucestershire

My engineering is looking to take on a Quality Inspector to join their team, on a permanent basis, in the Gloucestershire area.

The Quality Inspector will ideally have the following attributes:

Ideally trained through an Apprenticeship/ HNC/ HND or have a relevant engineering background
The ability to programme and use Aberlink CMM's
The ability to comprehensively understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications using GD&T
A motivated individual, capable of using their own initiative
Experience (preferred) within the oil and gas industry; but other sectors will be considered
Be able to work well alone as well as part of a team
Good communication skills

The Quality Inspector role will involve:

Following and implementing inspection processes
Performing the inspection of components to tight tolerances
Using CMMs as well as manual checks using Micrometers and Calipers
Understanding quality issues and the ability to determine the suitable outcomes
Communication with the management team to ensure that corrective actions are taken with NCRs
