£35,000 - £45,000
DONCASTER AREA (hybrid)
Take on an influential role within an innovative and digital-first retailer making waves in how data is used within ecommerce Work across forecasting demand in relation to seasonal demand and help this company plan their stock and logistics.
THE COMPANY
This is a UK renowned retailer within fashion and homeware going through a HUGE digital transformation and growing within data.
This role allows you to access the latest tools, training and development but also be part of the vast growth within the organisationTHE ROLE
You will lead on providing insight across data to provide clear guidance to business insight.
More specifically you will have to:
- Use SQL to provide deepdive analytics on sales, logistics and trading data, in relation to seasonal demand, sales and promotions
- Deliver short, medium and longterm forecasts across all sites and operations within this business
- Provide insights that can influence the global business saving money and becoming more efficient
- Work directly with senior stakeholders to proactively provide insights into trading and predictive analysis
- Report across key business metrics and make actionable recommendations
YOUR SKILLS
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis
- Preferably a data visualisation tool like Power BI
- A background in insights, trading or forecasting
- Excellent communication skills, confident in providing insights to high level senior stakeholders and conveying complex tech terms in digestible jargon
- Experience in forecasting distribution for sales, promotions, trading and stock movement
