As part of the Heads of Department Leadership Team (HODs) your responsibility as Head of Pricing will be to drive, lead and deliver the group's Pricing and Revenue Management strategy for Beyond the Bed and Holiday Taxis Transfers, to achieve annual budgeted KPIs on Passenger volume, Revenue and Margin.


Working with your team and across the business ensuring current customer portfolio opportunities are maximised, as well as working with other senior stakeholders in the business to realise new revenue opportunities.

The role holder will have a strong commercial acumen and be passionate about delivering performance and developing their team.

  • Responsible for management of volume, margin and revenue target achievement, working with key stakeholders internally and externally to optimize opportunity and identify risks.
  • Analyse Trading trends in booking patterns, market demand, competitor performance, and continued cost base review to develop and implement strategies and initiatives to drive revenue growth.
  • Maintain pricing structures within the pricing systems, making appropriate changes as new rates are received, competitive analysis reviewed and or new products or locations added
  • Management of competitor analysis, reporting on and actioning revenue management changes to ensure the business is maximizing its share in the transfers market place
  • Working with the Sales and MI teams to create cost benefit analysis models for new business, analysing a range of growth opportunities to assess commercial viability, creating commercial proposals to secure new/exclusive clients
  • Ensure the team embed Commercial agreements within price, closely monitoring performance against expectation and reacting accordingly
  • Lead and drive the business Trading meetings, influencing decisions through collaboration and suggestive actions, for improvement of all the company's Trading KPIs
  • Initiating driving supplier promotions and or marketing campaigns to generate business at key times
  • Use and interpret KPIs effectively to support decision making on pricing action and embed strong governance on tracking performance
  • Differentiated pricing: ongoing enhancement of the pricing strategy in recognition of customer alignment, consumer behaviours, geographical markets and differing distribution channels
  • Identifying and leading new system development projects in terms of efficiencies and improvements from a revenue management or commercial benefit perspective
  • Oversee potential impact and risks of your teams' recommendations. Monitor and measure success
  • Recruitment, coaching and performance management of a team of pricing analysts & managers. Building up resource required to progress the revenue management function as business grows
  • Reforecasting revenue performance in line with budgeted expectations identifying risks & opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging best practices in pricing

Skills, Experience & Knowledge:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business management, Finance, Management Science, Economics or related field required
  • 5+ years Revenue Management or Pricing experience highly desired.
  • Demonstrated extertise with PC based systems and associated software packages, advanced Excel skills essential
  • Experience of Tableau reporting tool desirable though not essential
  • Understand revenue management theory, tactics and processes
  • Possess strong organizational skills and able to work in multitask environment.
  • Highly experienced in analytical and data skills, detailorientated with a solid commercial mindset
  • Ability to extract meaning from data to deliver commercial insight
  • Ability to analyse problems, provide solutions and recommendations
  • Strong understanding of how to structure data for efficient use
  • Experience in commercial business case and scenario modelling
  • High level accuracy, attention to detail and ability to draw conclusions, proposals and implement actions based on detailed data analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels and ability to shape commercial solutions, being creative and a strong influencer of change
  • Have a strong and admirable leadership style and resilient mentality
  • A confident decision maker, able to present recommendations to get buyin
