Overview of the role:


In this role, you will oversee the Warehouse Operations on the Night Shift and ensure that customer delivery requirements are met.

Coordinating Team Leader activities, you'll ensure that our Dealer Order delivery is met. You'll also make sure we implement a system of continued operational excellence
- driving area, process, and quality improvements. Being mindful of Health and Safety issues and working to KPIs will be vital. You'll create standardised work requirements and monitor Warehouse Operations driving Kaizen improvements.


This demanding role requires a high level of self-motivation, problem solving skills and the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.

The successful applicant will support Warehouse Operations so must possess the ability to react to challenging situations and have a willingness to drive change.

Dependent on business needs, weekend work will be expected if required.


Your Responsibilities as a Group Leader Night Shift.

  • To ensure compliance to all relevant Health and Safety & Environmental legislation, demonstrating a desire to improve.
  • Effective investigations and robust close out of any safety concerns/incidents.
  • To achieve Quality, Cost and Growth targets, driving waste reduction opportunities.
  • To ensure the specific area of control is led effectively and efficiently.
  • Continuous improvement through the deployment of the JCB Production System (Kaizen activities, 5's, SOP adherence etc).
  • To develop a work group structure to support the roll out of lean initiatives, ensuring good team involvement & engagement.
  • People Management / Leadership, including attendance control and performance management.
  • To develop the team, through involvement, including their skills and flexibility.
  • To control key KPI such as LPMH
  • Implementation of Quality standards and the closure of corrective actions using structured problemsolving techniques.
  • Coordination and development of Team Leader activities.
  • Ensuring daily target requirements are achieved.
  • Conducting Area Patrols/Audits of the Warehouse areas / delivering process improvements.

  • Warehouse Management Systems / SAP background
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Assertiveness
  • Strong sense of urgency with a positive attitude
  • Practical problem solving
  • A Strong Knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
