Able Tutors are looking for
qualified UK teachers and professional tutors who are interested In working on a 1:1 basis to help prepare GCSE students for their exams this summer.

We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers of
Maths, English and Science.


This is a remote, part-time, flexible position and will involve you teaching on a 1-2-1 basis and your role will be to help individual students who are struggling and need extra help in order to focus on their studies.

Lessons will take place after school or at weekends, usually for 1 hour per week per student.


REQUIREMENTS:

- a relevant degree from a recognised university
- be experienced with the requirements of the National Curriculum and UK exam boards
- be able to work after school and at weekends
- speak fluent English
- be able to provide 2 references
- must live in the UK


Although we are based in North West London, we are now able to cover the whole of the UK by offering online work.


Important general information

  • English

GCSE:
tutors must be experienced in teaching both English Literature and English Language. We do not offer TEFL or Business English.

  • Science

GCSE:
tutors are required to teach ALL three sciences at this level.
