Meraki Talent are supporting with the appointment of a permanent Senior Financial Controls Manager - Financial Service (Insurance) based in Bristol.

The role is paying up to £120,000 base salary plus excellent bonus potential and benefits.

The Opportunity
The business is a UK financial services group with an outstanding reputation for client care and staff satisfaction.

It is an organisation which encourages progression, there is likely to be opportunities to move both laterally and vertically within finance.

The position of Senior Financial Controls Manager will lead and develop a team of 15.

This team are charged with running the month end close for this business area, as well as ensuring the necessary financial controls are in place to guarantee the integrityof the data.

This will require the successful Senior Financial Controls Manager to be involved in establishing key relationships with stakeholders including presenting to senior associates at board level.


The Person
The successful individual will be a Qualified Accountant with strong people management experience and a background in insurance.

Moreover, it is essential that the successful individual has experience of working within a financial controls environment and candrive improvements whilst meeting BAU deliverables affectively.
