  • Shift Days and nights 7 on 3 of 7 on 4 off
  • Pay Rate: £ Overtime Available
Contracted Hours: 60

Flexibility is vital as you will be required to work days, nights, weekends & Bank Holidays

The purpose of the role is to provide an efficient and professional security service to Samsic UK Security's clients as specified, demonstrating the highest levels of Customer Service; presenting at all times a smart, alert, visible and commanding security presence.


Duties of a Security Officer will include:

  • Ensure clients' staff, property and other assets are secure
  • Manage the parking
  • Complete daily logs, noting all appropriate activity
  • Produce accurate reports as and when required
  • Conduct sufficient internal and external patrols to ensure security of client's premises
  • Be an effective ambassador for Samsic Security
  • Responding to Customer Premises Alarm Activations
  • Access and egress
  • Conducting Patrols of various premises
  • Responding to Emergency Calls Received

Essential Requirements:


  • Current SIA Licence
  • Door Supervisor or Security Guarding
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, pleasant manner, approachable, clearly spoken
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Have a good knowledge of Health & Safety
  • Possesses computer literacy of at least a basic level
  • Demonstrates basic numeracy and literacy skills for following instructions and preparing reports
  • Demonstrates good observation skills
  • Demonstrates a flexible attitude to changing working hours and patterns
In order to work for Samsic you MUST fulfil the following criteria:

  • Have a current SIA Licence (DS or SG) CCTV desirable
  • Have an unrestricted right to work full time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Have a fiveyear checkable history (Providing a HMRC 3 Year Work History record at your interview)
  • Have a Full UK Driving License
