More about the role:


  • Comply with all client and company health & safety procedures and standards at all times. This includes but is not limited to Food Handling, COSHH, Uniform Standards, Personal Protective Equipment, Manual Handling, Fire Regulations, Quality Control andProfit Protection Company Procedure
  • Complete all Food Safety and Health & Safety paperwork correctly when required
  • Maintain the cleanliness of working areas ensuring Health and Safety hazards, issues, near misses and accidents are reported using the appropriate reporting procedures at the earliest opportunity
  • To ensure the highest level of customer care is always adhered to by role modelling the ESS Way values and behaviours at all times to colleagues and customers
  • To ensure all display counters and coffee machines comply with company and statutory health and hygiene requirements
  • To clean all customer Micro Market areas during and after use (including the coffee machine) and remove all waste to the appropriate area
  • To maintain temperature records as required and to report any variance
  • Collect stock and goods from the designated collection point, load the delivery van and deliver safely and in good condition, ensuring the packing of goods in the delivery vehicle is in an organized and safe manner
  • Check items against delivery notes, or an invoice and report to Line Manager any stock, or goods discrepancy
  • Merchandise Micro Market pods in line with the company brand standards set out via planograms
  • Planning the shortest delivery routes by taking roadblocks and traffic into consideration
  • Carry out required maintenance checks on the delivery van and informing Line Manager on any issue
  • Updating route, mileage and delivery logs as required
Role Responsibilities

  • To perform general duties which support the efficient running of a contract or unit in line with contractual requirements
  • Unloading goods and stock at the destination and getting client to sign necessary paperwork when required
  • Be flexible and comply with any reasonable requests made by your line Manager including if necessary, working within other units within reasonable distance
  • Exercise judgement and make decisions while operating the Company Vehicle

Who you are:
Essential**- 21 Years Old with Full Driving Licence

  • A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and engage with team members
  • Selfmotivated and able to work unsupervised
  • A positive attitude and committed to high levels of customer care
  • An enthusiastic individual with a passion for working in a contract catering environment
  • High standards of personal hygiene
  • Able to work flexibly in line with business requirements
  • Able to undertake a range of manual cleaning duties
  • Able to undertake manual handling tasks
  • Able to drive a transit van (in London)

Desirable

  • Experience within a similar role

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Mobile Retail Merchandiser/Driver to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in unmanned mini shops across London.


Starting and ending your day from our base at Hendon you will be transporting food and goods to sites across London, restocking and cleaning remote unmanned mini shops across London within Metropolitan Police.

Ensuring all vehicles are checked and cleanedto the required standard and any legal requirements.

Performing a variety of tasks associated with stock management and merchandising with due regard to all Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
