ABOUT THE ROLE:


We are currently recruiting for motivated, reliable and customer focused Area Supervisor to join our team based in the Brighton area.


Job Type:
Permanent - Full Time.


Pay Rate:
£13.89

In addition, you will have the use of a company vehicle with fuel card (Manual driving license required)


Working Hours: 40 Hrs per week, 8 Hrs per day, 08:00 to 17:00,Monday to Friday
On call work at weekends on a rota

Required to start immediately after successful Police Vetting process.


Role Summary:

You will build effective relationships and ensure that employees always work productively and safely.


Your responsibilities and Key Areas of work may include:

  • As a Cleaning Services Supervisor, you will interact with and support the Account Management team in supervising a team of cleaning staff across your designated site(s).
  • You will build effective relationships and ensure that employees are working productively and safely.
  • Present and conduct yourself in a professional, courteous and appropriate manner in accordance with the Company policies, procedures, guidelines and values.
  • You will work closely with the site teams to ensure excellent service delivery and that our clients have a better day, every day.
  • Support and guide the site cleaning teams to achieve excellent service levels.
  • Work with customers to address any specific requirements or concerns.
  • Carrying out regular site cleaning audits.
  • Support in the recruitment and training of new employees including site familiarisation detailing cleaning regime, waste procedures as well as opening and lockup procedures.
  • Provide handson cleaning support across sites and respond to cleaning requests as required.
  • Provide up to date safety and COSHH training on a regular basis and record keep accurate records.
  • Scheduling and assigning specific duties and roles to cleaners and ensuring they are carried out and maintained to the correct standards.
  • Support in rota organisation as well as providing accurate timesheets to the accounts management team.
  • Manage equipment, materials and stock levels and making orders where required.
  • Contribute to and maintain good relationships with customer representatives on site.

ABOUT YOU:


  • Proven experience working as an Area Supervisor with evidence of managing high performing teams
  • Excellent skills in building relationships and developing partnerships across multiple stakeholders
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to confidently and credibly engage and influence clients, partners and employees
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office suite and business systems (Templa and Timegate)
  • Experience of audits and working with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
  • Has the ability to lead, manage, coach, develop and motivate direct reports and teams
  • Proven record of being responsive and innovative
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work flexibly and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Company core values
