As an Event Steward, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the public at various events and venues.
Responsibilities:
As an Event Steward, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing excellent customer service and care to event attendees.
- Assisting in carrying out preevent checks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Attending preevent briefings and becoming familiar with the location layout, facilities, and emergency procedures.
- Assisting with ticket checking, queue management, and ensuring a smooth flow of attendees into the event or venue.
- Monitoring crowds for signs of disturbance, incidents, or overcrowding.
- Responding to and assisting with any emergency situations as required.
Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you'll need the following qualities:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of the job.
- A professional demeanour with sound judgment and integrity.
