Description
We have an exciting opportunity to work in our sports office to help deliver a professional and quality sports bookings and administration service to all users of the outdoor sports facilities on our portfolio across the borough.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual with good IT literacy and a high level of organisational and communication skills, who has a keen interest and in-depth understanding of sports and the leisure industry with a strong customer focus.
You must be pro-active, work well under pressure and be able to work on own initiative and as part of a busy, vibrant, and friendly team.
You will have a keen interest, and good knowledge of sports.Please refer to Role Profile for more information.
Role Responsibilities:
- The post holder will work closely with the Sports Manager, other Sports Bookings and Admin Officers, Sports Officers on the ground and our contractor to ensure we put customer needs first at every opportunity, treating customers in a fair and consistent way and responding effectively to their enquiries.
- Interact with customers in a manner that exceeds their expectations and delivers excellent customer experience.
- Work closely with the council's contractor to ensure all sports ground preparations are done in a timely fashion and enough notice period have been given to their team on the ground.
- Operate and administer the LBH&F online sports bookings systems and provide support, as and when required, to the service manager/s and wider the team.

- Educated to college or degree level.
- Sports management qualification would be desirable but not essential.
