Salary £21,000 -£22,000

I have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Officer to join a successful company based in the Worcester area.

Working in professional manufacturing company. They offer free onsite parking. This is a permanent opportunity.

Health & Safety duties will include:

  • Reporting to the Site Manager the H&S Officer will constantly review site activity to ensure we are fully compliant with Group and HSE regulations and practices, making sure that all the stakeholders across the site are sufficiently competent and awareof safety best practice in order that they and their associates carry out their activities with the lowest level of risk.
  • The role is key in developing clear systems of work that eliminate risk and encourages a culture where all colleagues and associates take responsibility for the safety of themselves and all around them.
  • Regularly review that the objectivates defined in the site H&S policy are relevant in line with the company policy.
  • Maintain all compliance and updating of all official safety documentation.
  • Organise/Lead site Health & Safety Committee Meetings
  • Ensure all legislative requirements relating to official permit documents are in line with the latest legal version and comply with these requirements.
  • Ensure all legislative requirements relating to environmental laws are compliant and followed.
  • Ensure all safety systems are fully operational and adequate testing of systems e.g. fire evacuation, is undertaken and reviewed to ensure the safety and knowledge of all Associates.
  • Maintain the required numbers of Fire Wardens, First Aiders and Ammonia team members. Organize training to maintain these requirements, contributing to budget process to ensure funding available

Must have:


  • Proven HSE experience.
  • Previous experience with manufacturing.
  • HND Level.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent.
