INTRO

S&P Recruitment is currently looking to recruit an FLT / Warehouse Operative on behalf of an existing client on the outskirts of Halifax.

Ideally, we're looking for someone who is immediately available or can move quickly, and initially, this role will be temp with a view to going perm after 12 weeks.

Please note that this is a varied role, so you won't be sitting on an FLT all day. You could be on an FLT for an hour one day, several hours the next, and none the following.

The company we represent is an SME retail joinery manufacturer, that works on anything from rollouts to bespoke solutions for some of the most recognised brands in the country.

They're established reputable and looking to grow going forward so it would be a really good time to join them

They do what they do best from their 25,000 sq ft manufacturing facility - and a committed workforce. Combined with their machinery, quality control, procedures and workmanship mean they produce high-quality products time after time.

ABOUT YOU

Ideally, you will have several years warehouse / flt counterbalance experience.
Experience of working in a varied role that will involve general warehouse duties such as goods in and out, moving products around the site and helping to prepare products for delivery.
Basic Health and Safety awareness.
Good communication skills, able to communicate at all levels.
Ability to use your own initiative.

WHAT'S ON OFFER
- £10 to £12 per hour starting salary.

Core hours of 40 per week Monday to Friday with overtime available through the week and on a Saturday morning.

Inhouse training is provided if needed and where appropriate.
