Description

The Opportunity:

As an additional member of the Production Planning team, you will assist in the production planning within a vibrant, fascinating engineering firm who build amazing vehicles in a niche market.

You will plan and prepare production schedules and use your previous Planning and Scheduling skills to good effect.

Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare the production schedules for manufacture of all products within specified lead times.
Plan and schedule workflow for each manufacturing operation according to established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
Analyse production specifications and plant capacity data to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements.

Support the Planning Manager and wider business with additional tasks and projects to ensure optimal efficiency is achieved within the manufacturing facility.

To create and maintain a culture of continuous improvement, constantly challenging current working practice.

Skills:

Experience of working with ERP or MRP systems is essential, as are excellent IT skills, especially in Excel.
Strong attention to detail is essential.
Excellent communication skills and experience of building relationships with colleagues across the business
