We are seeking an experienced, exceptional and committed, time-served, fully qualified Painter to assist the Painting Supervisor and Operations Manager of WS Estate Services Limited in the delivery of the Internal Close Painting and Void Decoration Contracts to the tenants of Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association.

In addition to salary, WSES offers a generous Pension Scheme and Cycle to Work Scheme. A full clean driving license is an essential requirement for this post. Please note a Disclosure Scotland check at Basic level will be required for this post.


The Company


Established in 2017 as a wholly owned subsidiary of Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association Ltd (WSHA), WS Estate Services Ltd.

(WSES) is Registered under the Companies Act 2006 No


Managed by Operations Manager, Steven McLaughlin, WSES currently delivers a stair and bin store cleaning and a comprehensive bulk uplift service to the WSHA properties as well as caretaking services to the multi-story block at 64 Curle Street.

We also deliver a grounds maintenance service to the properties in WSHA's stock, and a void management contract for the Association.

We operate with a team of 2 Estate Supervisors and 11 Estate/MSF caretakers to carry out these duties.

We have expanded the services that we provide to WSHA to include the delivery of the Internal Close Painting and Void Painting Contracts.


Although we share a registered office address with our parent company we are based in bespoke offices at the foot of the multi-story block at 64 Curle Street (G14 0SU) creating a pleasant base for our staff to work from.


We offer a competitive salary, 20 working days paid holidays per annum (and 9 general and public which are added to the holiday entitlement), 6% employer pension contribution (5% minimum staff member contribution) and 4 x life insurance cover if you don't opt out of our pension scheme.

We also offer a cycle purchase scheme.


Job Summary:

Operating within a strong performance and customer focused culture you will be expected to assist the Painting Supervisor in the delivery of the Internal Close Painting and Void Decoration Contracts to the tenants of Whiteinch & Scotstoun Housing Association.

A highly self-motivated and experienced Painter and team player, you will be instinctively customer focused.

You will be able to demonstrate forward thinking and continuous improvement alongside a clear understanding of the need to work with the best interests of the customer at the heart of decisions, whilst ensuring the required outcomes of the Internal Close Painting and Void Decoration Contracts.
