Greenscape Energy are seeking a new team member to help us expand and grow as a business and really make a difference.

We are seeking to appoint a full time Estates and Maintenance person.

The main purpose of the role is to organise and provide a wide range of facilities & maintenance services to the company.

Greenscape Energy Ltd currently operates across two main sites, The Energy Shop in Woodbridge Road, and Akenham (our warehouse facility) The majority of maintenance work is located on these sites, there may also be some work at customer locations over Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire for odd making good work.

Example of tasks may include

Project management of alterations to buildings
Basic plumbing, carpentry, general building
Painting & Decorating
Organisation & supervision of Fire Risk related maintenance such as Electrical testing, Fire Extinguisher maintenance,
Assemble furniture
Minor snagging works at customer properties

Applicants will ideally have a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in a maintenance role, preferably in a similar environment.

Being well versed in current Health and Safety law would be advantageous and a licence to drive is essential.

You should have good interpersonal skills, be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work to provide a first class service.

The role will involve physical work.

The hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week.

Standard hours are Monday - Friday, however on occasion there may be the requirement to assist with office maintenance out of hours whilst the office is closed, time in lieu will be allowed for any occasions when this occurs.

Working hours: 8.00 am pm or 7.30 am pm Monday to Friday, with occasional out of hours cover
