Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist the teacher in the delivery of lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Help with the planning and preparation of classroom activities.
  • Support students with additional needs, adapting resources as required.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the overall wellbeing and pastoral care of students.
  • Commitment to safeguarding pupils and families.

Qualifications and Experience:


  • Relevant qualifications in education or childcare (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) or HLTA.
  • Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is desirable.
  • Knowledge of the UK national curriculum.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
