We currently have vacancies for Kitchen Assistants at Renovo Brighton, who will receive a £500 signing bonus, if successful. (NB. Payable on successful completion of your 3 month Probationary. This bonus will only be reclaimed if employment with Renovo is ended within 6 months.)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in keeping the kitchen clean, hygienic, and tidy at all times
• Check Food Management Cleaning Schedule
• Wash up and put into dishwasher/empty dishwasher and wash grill and sieve
• Sterilise all surface areas
• Empty rubbish bags
• Sweep and wash floors
• Lock serving shutter and hatchway shutter as instructions
• Turn off hot cupboard
• Carry out instructions given by Chef and Management team
• Ensure all kitchen areas are left clean with kitchen equipment put in correct places
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Chef or Manager
• Be involved and contribute at team meetings
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing all in house mandatory training

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• A stable work history and previous experience in a similar role (essential)
• A team player who is thorough and reliable (essential)
• Previous experience working in a care home environment (desirable)

£10.92 per hour
