PMR are seeking an Assistant Community Manager to assist with the day to day operations of a high-end Build to Rent development in Woking.

The Assistant Community Manager will achieve resident retention goals by performing all activities related to customerservice to all residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, therefore ensuring resident lease renewals and referrals.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Primary responsibility for delivering a 'bestinclass' service to residents and visitors.
  • Overseeing and organising the daily operations of the onsite team, ensuring market leading excellence across, Customer Service and Leasing Targets.
  • Be the leader in delivering consistent excellent service that leads to resident renewals.
  • Your objective will be to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals andreferrals.
  • You will need to be fully committed to support the Community Manager in all aspects of the role including supervising leasing performance, occupancy, team members, reporting, problem solving, resident satisfaction, strategizing and delivering resident events,etc.
  • Coordinating and overseeing the planning and implementation of, various community recreational and social activities. Ensuring they are actively promoted and advertised to our residents.
  • You will be responsible for the development, engagement and motivation of the team, and lead the team to success in achieving its goals.
  • Your role will include all aspects of recruiting, onboarding, training and inspiring the team. You will also be responsible for the day to day management of the team, including training, motivating and developing them.
  • Ensures that the community meets company standards by daily inspecting the marketing corridor and leasing tour. Communicating maintenance and upkeep needs to the maintenance team.
  • Executes activities in support of the community's lease renewal program by preparing lease renewal letters and packages for residents, meeting with and contacting renewing residents in advance of moveout dates, and ensuring that lease renewal documentsare signed and implemented on time.
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, organisational standards, and operational processes related to area of responsibility and reporting violations or infractions to appropriateindividual.
  • Follows established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations, ensuring the team are fully trained and updated.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience:


  • Have experience within BTR, property sector, hospitality, leisure industries or similar at a management level.
  • Be a natural leader, motivating and coaching your team to succeed.
  • Have a passion for customer service and ensuring excellence.
  • Be proficient in executing sales skills, such as generating sales leads, conducting sales presentations, qualifying prospects, and closing.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English.
  • Be proficient in IT skills including MS Word, Excel & Outlook (training will be provided for our internal database system).
  • Have a Collaborative working style and strong leadership qualities to ensure that people follow your lead.
  • A bright, clear and calm communication style.
  • An organised and methodical approach to tasks.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
