Description
Combermere Abbey is over 1,000acres with a magnificent County House. The Estate is owned and run by Mrs Sarah Callander Beckett.

The land is farmed and rented; the business offers 1st class bed and breakfast accommodation in the North Wing and 9 beaufully restored and decorated Cottages.

The administration, working from a modern office setting, will provide profession and efficient support to Mrs Callander Beckett and her Team.


Required Skills and Experience:


  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Experience of office and administration systems.
  • Familiarity with administrative tasks and ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Qualification relevant to administrative role
  • Previous experience working in a similar role.
  • Minute taking and meeting administration experience.

Essential:


  • Educated to A Level standard or equivalent, with GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft office systems Office 365 and Outlook essential.
  • Ability to act with discretion and respect confidentiality.

Executive Assistant to the Owner of Combermere Abbey

  • Provide administrative support to owner of Combermere Abbey;
  • To attend weekly meetings with owner, take dictation; organise diary to coincide with owner's diary;
  • Provide administrative support with external organisations ie. Historic Houses, CLA;
  • Annual Tax Returns;
  • Update owner with estate matters.

Estate Administrator

  • Maintain accurate databases and management information systems, ie. Teams.
  • Follow organisational policies and procedures, with a focus on health and safety and confidentiality.
  • Provide administrative support to the Heads of Departments, attend relevant internal meetings and take minutes as required.
  • Undertake basic HR functions, such as maintaining personnel records and contracts. Supporting and assisting with the interviewing process. with personnel matters, ie. Paternity/maternity/disciplinary matters.
  • Letting and maintenance of estate properties.
  • Provide administrative support for organising and delivering hospitality at events and functions.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 24 per week


Salary:
£14.00-£15.00 per hour
